Mauermuseum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie:
At this museum you can learn about the history of the Berlin Wall and the
most famous border crossing point.

Pergamonmuseum:
this is the most famous and most visited museum in Berlin. The museum has 3
collections at it’s disposal. The collections are: the museum of the Near
East, the Antiquity collection and the museum of Islamic art;
Fernsehturm (La torre della televisione):
the Berlin Television Tower opened up in 1969 and is one of the most
well-known monuments in Berlin.

German Historical Museum:
the museum has been reconstructed and has a part, the Pei-Bau, that will
hold special exhibition.
The museum has a permanent exhibition for the
German history.
The Potsdam – Berlin landscape.
this is a landscape that takes part of UNESCOS world cultural heritage list.
Here you’ll find the Leisure Garden, the royal
hunting lodge, the village Klein-Glienicke to mention a few of the monuments;
The Museum Island:
This island is on the list of UNESCOS world cultural heritage and here you’ll
find 5 museums;
Unter den Linden: this is the famous boulevard that has linden trees planted on the sides.
The first trees were planted in the year 1647 and the boulevard has been a
part of the German history since then.;
Brandenburger Tor:
this is one of the most well-known symbols of Berlin and this was the main
entrance to the city. It was built during 1788-1791 by Carl Gotthard
Langhans. The gate was surrounded by the wall for almost 30 years. Today
people can walk through the gate and admire it’s work.;
Tiergarten:
this is the oldest public park in Berlin. It was king Friedrich I who made
this park a public park and before this it was a hunting ground. The
construction of the Tiergarten started in the sixteenth century;
Nicolai Church:
the Nicolai church marks the location where Berlin was founded. This is also
the first stone church in the city. It was built around 1230 and was then
converted into a basilica. The church was bombed during the Second World War
and was reconstructed in 1985.;
Berlin Dom, The Berlin Cathedral
the construction of the Berliner Dom was started in 1893 and it was built to
be the states most important Protestant church. Friedrich I and his wife
Sophie Charlotte are buried here. The cathedral was completed in 1905 and
the architects were Julius Carl Raschdorff and Otto Raschdorff;
The Berlin Wall:
the wall was constructed in1961 and today one can see a small part of the
wall that has been preserved as a monument. The feelings about the wall are
still today very different. The Berlin wall divided and separated the city
for 29 years.
